Even in this mostly digital age, there is something so satisfying about flipping through a cookbook and deciding on a recipe to try out. We were really excited to print this wire-o cookbook printing project for the Vaglio Family.
At 226 pages, this wire-o cookbook printing project has lots of recipes with beautiful pictures accompanying most of the recipes. The use of wire-o binding adds a sturdiness to the cookbook and the gloss lamination on the front and back covers adds protection when using the cookbook in the kitchen.
This wire-o cookbook printing project was clearly a labor of love — with the intention of passing down prized family recipes to future generations. It was a beautiful project that should bring much joy to the family for decades to come!

Why did you choose Publishing Xpress?
I looked at many publishing sites and Publishing Xpress had the best reviews and their product looked very professional. I also compared their pricing with other online sites, as well as several printing shops in my local market. With the promotional discount at the time, it was more affordable with Publishing Xpress than the other options.
How was your experience with Publishing Xpress?
My first interaction was with Renee Benson who listened to what I wanted to publish, a family cookbook, and then walked me through options and made recommendations. She suggested that I receive their sample package that would allow me to see and touch the many options available in paper finish and weight for the text and cover pages.
The sample package included a very helpful guide on how to print your book. Once I was ready to print (or so I thought), Jackie Moinet, Customer Service Manager, assisted me in getting my book into her hands where she produced a proof copy for my review before going to print. This was a critical point, as Jackie told me where I might need to enhance photos that may not look right in my printed book. At the same time, my daughter acted as my editor and found many areas for revision.
The patience Jackie had during this period of revision was so comforting. She said to take my time to get my book exactly how I wanted it to look and read. Once that process was completed, another proof copy was generated and Jackie found a few additional items to address, as well as guided me to how best to view the proof copy. I felt Renee and Jackie were assisting me as people who truly cared about my project and ensured the final product was all that I had hoped for.
How do you feel about the quality and timeliness of your project?
My rating for both would be a 10 out of ten! The turnaround time in printing and shipping was also amazing! It was just a few days after I approved the final proof copy that my boxes of books arrived.
Would you use Publishing Xpress again? Why?
Without pause, I would use Publishing Xpress again. Their team of very diligent, caring professionals take an interest in meeting or exceeding the client’s expectations and made my experience stress-free! I can’t thank Renee and Jackie enough for their expert assistance and patience with me.
Is there anything you wish had been different?
I wish I had done a better job proofreading my book before I sent in the first draft to save my daughter from such a tedious task. As far as Publishing Xpress, I would not want any part of their process to change. They do an exceptional job in bringing the best people to their team and that should never change as well. I am so appreciative of their role in helping me to create what I hope will be a cherished cookbook for my family and friends.
