This baby clothing catalog printing project was just soo precious! Who doesn’t love baby clothes? Trust us when we say that the clothes were as cute and fun as the company name.
At the Spunky Stork, they print on their crazy soft organic bodysuits the old fashioned way… on a manual screen printing press. They take pride in the handmade nature of their items, so much so that they print every single bodysuit to order, right after you purchase it.
And while they are incredibly proud of their handmade process, they are even prouder that they source 100% GOTS certified cotton from a small town in India, where their factory reinvests all their profits back into the community.
This baby clothing catalog printing project was designed with a solid white background with gentle pink and turquoise graphics to cater to the audience. Catalogs with white backgrounds are the way to go because it does not distract the viewer from the focal point, which are the products.
Spunky Stork designers opted for out heaviest paper stock available for perfect bound books – 100 lb. text stock for the inside pages and 100 lb. cover stock for the cover. It is easy to get confused with these two or any two stocks with the same paper weight, but please pay attention to whether you are selecting TEXT vs. COVER stock. Text stock is going to be much lighter and more flexible, suitable for inside pages, and cover stock will have a more cardstock feel (still flexible).
The heavier paper selection definitely gives the final baby clothing catalog printing product a more high-end magazine feel.
“The catalogs were a hit! Thank you SO much for working so quickly with us. I just love them! I am also going to order more this month as we have another trade show coming up in February. I have attached a picture of the catalog in action!”
