CD Baby started as an online CD Store in 1998, and now distributes, publishes, and represents music from many independent musicians and songwriters. Their mission is to allow artists to control their own rights and prices, and with over 650,000 artists, they do just that. This color booklet printing project was beautifully designed and a fun project to print.
This printing project is a comprehensive guide for artists looking to distribute their own music. It offers a checklist to follow and includes helpful tips, making sure no aspect of the publishing journey is forgotten. This clean, well laid out booklet has everything the aspiring artist needs to get started to make money as a musician.

Why did you choose Publishing Xpress?
We needed a lot of booklets printed and delivered to a music event within a week. When Vistaprint’s customer service turned me down, I began to look into other options. Publishing Xpress was brand new, and I was a little unsure about it, but I’m so glad I found them!
How was your experience with Publishing Xpress?
While the website could use a little aesthetic updating, the process was straightforward, and the team was super responsive. And when I say team, I don’t mean autoreplies from an e-mail bot. Emma was very keen on making sure everything about the booklet was good-to-go.
How do you feel about the quality and timeliness of your project?
I can’t speak to the quality, as I had the booklets drop-shipped, but they arrived on time.
Would you use Publishing Xpress again? Why?
Absolutely, I dig the customer service!
Is there anything you wish had been different?
I wish I hadn’t been in such a rush, and I wish that I could’ve seen the final product in person, but that’s all circumstances. Otherwise, I wouldn’t change a thing.
