At Publishing Xpress, we love when we get to work with authors – and while we enjoy all of our clients’ work, there is something especially sweet and fun about books written for children. So, we were very excited to print this color doll book printing project, “The Lost Doll,” a short story with adorable pictures that any kid would love to read!
The story follows Katie and Darcy, twin rabbit sisters who want to have a tea party with their dolls. But the peace of the activity does not last long once an uninvited and scary guest shows up and a friend goes missing!
One of the most unique aspects of this book is that Katie and Darcy themselves are dolls, and the accompanying pictures on each page are photographs of the dolls in different scenes. Any child who loves to act out stories with their own favorite toys will love seeing this reflected in what they are reading this color doll book printing project.

I chose Publishing Xpress because their website was easy to use and very informative. The fact that they had someone on their website to chat with was very helpful! What first had me interested was the sample that they sent which really showcased the quality of their printing. I had in the past looked at other printing places but they all had a gloomy feel to them.
In the past, I ordered a few copies of my children’s book from another online self-publishing company, but the books looked awful and I was discouraged. So I was very nervous at first, but found I had nothing to fear. I was so excited to hold this new copy of my book in my hands for the first time and it was exactly what I envisioned!
When I ordered a set of copies for my children’s book from Publishing Xpress, they had a problem with one of their machines but they didn’t let that slow them down any. They informed me about the progress of my order and even with the setback, they still had my order to me crazy fast!
I’m very impressed with their quality and plan on ordering plenty more copies from them in the future, they have done everything they could to make the whole process easier on me. I am so excited to have found a company that can produce quality prints that meets my expectations and represents my children’s book so well.
