This color newsletter printing project features the SPCA Eastern Shore, a private nonprofit, non-euthanasia (no-kill), limited intake animal shelter. They provide shelter, food, medical care, and adoption services for homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. These services are funded solely by private donations and adoption fees. Kudos to SPCA for all that they do, we at Publishing Xpress are proud to call SPCA a loyal client of their newsletter printing project!
These newsletters —“Paw Printz” — SPCA prints with Publishing Xpress are simply adorable and very informative. Each Paw Printz newsletter printing project consists of 8 full 8.5×11 pages, full color, saddle-stitched, and printed on 80# gloss text all the way through, which mean that the cover and inside text are all the same paper stock.
For small newsletter printing projects, saddle-stitch and one paper stock [self cover] is the way to go. Having one paper stock with saddle-stitching stays true to traditional newsletter form, as well as maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Because an order such as this is so small in page count, it is always better to order large quantities at a time. You get the most bang for you buck, plus if you’re nonprofit, Publishing Xpress will gladly honor the 10% nonprofit discount.
How did you select Publishing Xpress?
Primarily economics. SPCA Eastern Shore is a nonprofit, and I wanted to get us the best product I could at the best price I could find. The examples I saw on your site looked good, your prices were among the best I found, and your 10% discount for nonprofits clinched the choice.
How was your experience with Publishing Xpress?
I couldn’t be happier. You made it easy for me to get a detailed quote that I could take to my shelter manager for approval. Once I had my files ready, submitting them was simple, and the electronic proof was ready quickly. When I’ve had questions, my e-mails to you have always gotten a response that was both prompt and helpful.
Was your project completed on time?
Always. In fact, our most recent issue was shipped 2 days earlier than our scheduled shipping date.
Were you happy with the quality of your project?
We had been publishing in black and white with a local firm and really wanted to step up to color, but we simply couldn’t afford to do that with them. Your prices made it possible for us to make the upgrade, and we’ve received many compliments from our readers on how attractive the newsletter looks now.
Would you use Publishing Xpress again?
Not only would, but have. We publish quarterly, and this March will be the fifth issue for which we’ve used Publishing Xpress.
