We loved this wire-o journal printing project! It was very professionally designed and made us want to start planning our life immediately.
In the introduction, the author Monica Allen says that the journal uses the S.I.M.P.L.E. Path to Prosperity philosophy, because being your own boss is more than just running a successful business. It’s about being the boss over all areas of your life, including Spiritual, Intellect, Money, Physical, Love, and Entertainment. The goal of the journal project is to create annual goals around each category and accomplish them by breaking the goals into milestones for each week.
The wire-o binding was perfect for this journal printing project. With 16 pt. covers and gloss lamination, the covers will protect the journal. And the 70# uncoated text for the inside pages is perfect for writing in the journal. Great choices all around.
Paper: 70# Uncoated Text

Why did you choose Publishing Xpress?
I spent time researching printers that could offer a metal coil for the binding. This was very important to me because I don’t like the plastic coils.
How was your experience with Publishing Xpress?
My experience with you all, specifically Jackie has been great! The response time is phenomenal and she helped me through the entire process. The fact that you all sent me the sample packet was what sealed the deal. I could look, touch and feel the paper. Also having a hard cover was very important and it was great being able to feel that as well.
How do you feel about the quality and timeliness of your project?
The timing was perfect. Considering I ordered during the holidays, I got my Become Your Own Boss planners right before the new year so it was great. I could get them mailed to my customers for the first of the year.
Would you use Publishing Xpress again? Why?
I would definitely use you all again, because I found the service and pricing to be good for me.
Is there anything you wish had been different?
The only thing I would change is I would love an even thicker cover. Much like the planners in Target. I would also like the coils available in gold, silver or rose gold. Something more luxurious. (Stay tuned for color wire-o coils — we’ll be adding those soon!)
